States companies profit from the genocide in Darfur?
1. DynCorp, an
American security corporation reprimanded by the State Department for the

2. Pacific Architects
and Engineers (PAE), a company that provides support for oil drilling
operations is currently being investigated for overcharging the UN for work
done in the DR Congo.
In October, 2004, both companies were awarded
a $20.6 million dollar joint contract from the US State Department to
provide logistic support to members of the AU who are monitoring the
genocide. The contract allows the State Department to use the

3. British Patrolium
(BP), based out of London, BP owns Amoco and has a large US base of

in and owns 20% of Petrochina, China's state oil company
Petrochina has been
accused of profiteering from human rights abuses in Sudan and Tibet.
