I wanted to thank Mr. Parson for his comments in his September 11, 2002 column. He expressed several opinions about why we Americans are so disliked. I completely agree with him as I have felt the same way for many years.
May I also say THANK YOU to Mr. Tony Blair for his unyielding support for our President and our country. My husband, our two Continental Airlines flight attendant children and I were in London when 9/11/2001 shook the world. We were fortunate to hear Mr. Blair address his nation, greatly increasing our family's admiration of him. The English people with whom we came into contact the rest of that week were very kind to us. As soon as they heard the American accent, they expressed their sympathy at our country's loss. We were humbled by their expressions, after all they had been through during World War II.
The people of the United Kingdom who are not supporters of Mr. Blair should open their minds and realize what a strong leader they have. I thank the Lord every night for Mr. Bush and Mr. Blain and other countries supporting them. Perhaps because of their resolve, the people of Iraq will finally be out from under the control of the most brutal man in modern history, if not since time began.
I would also like to express for all Americans the sorrow we felt for the families of the gallant British troops who gave their life in the crash of the US Marine Corp helicopter, March 20. May God please be with them in their time of sadness and give them strength to face their loss. We are so sorry.

Please accept this Thank You note from me concerning the September 11, 2002 article you wrote. I thought it was very touching to find out that the US and its people have friends in other places. You may not beleive in what our leader is doing, or in what he and his staff is saying but it is nice to know that the events mean something. I do not know anyone who was killed in the 9/11 events, but I cried when I watched it on the television, and my thoughts turned to all the people who I do know who will be affected by this eventually. I will end this note now with another Thank You, and ask that you keep an open mind in anything that might occur concerning the War on Terrorism. Sincerely, S. Hernandez, Texas

Regarding the article backing President Bush by Tony Parsons. How incredibly brave and kind of him to write an article that would most likely have come from an American.
We are, indeed, very lucky to have allies such as he and his fellow citizens. Since World War 11, and the esteemed Prime Minister Churchill, we have been good friends and allies. Tony Blair is a prime example of the kind of man I am referring too! History will bare out the goodness of these two men and countries; and we shall be friends and allies forever, for goodness always wins out.
Thanks again to Tony Parsons for his kind words-
Sincerely yours,
Judy M.

Hit your history books. The fiasco in Mogadishu was created by former DEMOCRATIC President Jimmy Carter(Remember him. The president that allowed a large group of our citizens to be held HOSTAGE for 444 Days.)and then current DEMOCRATIC President Bill Clinton. Mr. Carter informed Mr. Clinton that a military solution wouldn't work so he made contact with the Somolian War Lord Aideed. Carter reported in the middle of September of 1993 that Aideed was ready to negotiate. Problem was no one bothered to tell the Rangers that were on orders to get him. SO A POINTLESS MISSION OCCURRED ON OCTOBER 3,1993 AND 18 ARMY RANGERS LOST THERE LIVES FOR NOTHING! For more information on this fiasco please see: http:/www.arlingtoncemetary.com/jcjoyce.htm.
As far as the Gulf War that was started by a coalition and stopped by a cease fire. FYI-When you stop following the cease fair its your ass. Sadam Hussein long ago broke that UN brokered cease fire so no one has to get anyone's permission to go back. Besides who needs anyone's permission to defend our country? Maybe it is you with your head in the sand. Oh by the while you do your history refresher check out what France has done in Africa.

The Jerk needs to get his Head out of the Sand and back into the real World. So a few thousand people died on 9/11. The U.S American Military has killed 10X that many innocent civilians or more using what eve reason they choose. Even their "Friendly Fire Kills" are supposed to be accepted as so called accidents of War. Perhaps that is what He should
say to the Family's of the 15 U.S. Army Personnel that were killed by two U.S. Navy Fighters when they shot down two U.S. Army Helicopters in N. Iraq AFTER the Gulf War had ended ... Tell it to the Families of the British troops that were killed when again U.S. Navy Fighters attacked a British Convoy. ... Tell it to the Families of the Canadian troops that were killed, that once more were attacked by U.S. Navy Fighters ... War is Hell, especially when more American and Allied Forces have been killed in Afghanistan by Friendly Fire, than by the Enemy!!! If Tony Parsons thinks this is supposed to be considered as being acceptable, He needs to carry his Big Mouth where the action is and hope he isn't one of those "Friendly Fire" accidents. As for his Idiotic reference to the U.S. as being the Worlds Greatest Super Power ... What Planet did he drop out of ??? The fact is that the U.S. has NOT ... that's N_O_T ... won a WAR since the end of WWII. They couldn't even take care of Business in Somalia let alone Iraq in the so called "Gulf" War and in over a Year in Afghanistan !!! Just what Kind of Super Power does that ass mean ??? Just for the Record; a) It was SAUDI Pilots in case HE forgot, NOT Iraqi or Afghanistan that flew the planes on 9/11. So when does Parsons think that BUSH will attack them ??? b) Iraq was NOT an Eminent Threat to the U.S. from 9/11 until Enron/WorldCom Executives got caught stealing Thousands from their Companies. If Parsons didn't get the Word, there were more than a dozen other Corporations that were scheduled to be investigated as well as two named "Individuals" ... BUSH and CHANEY !!! All of a sudden out of a clear blue sky, AFTER it was learned that Russia and Germany were talking with Iraq about million $$$ contracts to do work for them, that somehow Iraq had become an Eminent Threat to the U.S. and those Congressional Investigations seemed to vanish along with all the evidence !!! MUST be nice to be "Above the Law" just because of Who and What you ARE !!! Too bad the American People do not have the same equality !!! BUSH's "Do as I Say, Not as I Do" Policy just does NOT cut it with World Countries anymore. BUSH has stated Publicly that the U.S. is NOT a Dictatorship, YET has supported Dictators for decades Including Saddam and others all over the World and has "Dictated" Policies to others as well. I have to wonder just WHAT definition BUSH is using for "Dictator" ??? I leave you with this: BUSH is an Arrogant, Self Centered, Self Serving, Fool who is totally Obsessed with Destroying Saddam and the Iraqi Leadership NO matter the Cost of U.S., Allied, or Iraqi Lives or anything else, regardless of the Fact that this is just another NO Win War for the U.S. !!!

Mr. Parsons,
This is one of the best written articles I have written regarding September 11th and support for America. I have a daughter and son-in-law in the US Army and hope that war can be avoided in Iraq. However, should God not allow this cup to pass from us, I will give my full support to the President of the United States and our honorable military. I also give it to the best friend our country has ever had. Thank you for sharing this with the world.

To Tony Parsons: From an American to a great Englishman. Thank you for your 9/11 summary. You are to be commended for taking a stand. Many countries believe we are the instigator of a coming war.
More from Lou M:
There were many things that Parsons said that were True, but there is little room to be placing the U.S. Government on any Pedestal!!! During WW II the Allies, including the U.S. Air Force, Fire Bombed numerous non-military German Cities that killed over 100,000 innocent men, women and children without a second thought. In the Pacific, they ranted and raved about how the Japanese had forced several hundred American POW's on the Batan Death March, while earlier in American History had NO problem forcing 18,000 Men, Women and Children on a forced march from N. Carolina to Oklahoma Territory. Those people were Native American Cherokees ... The march is called "The Trail of Tears" on which over 4,000 of them died along the trail !!! One more note: On the 50th Anniversary of D-Day, U.S. Survivors openly admitted that they killed German POW's just as the Germans killed American POW's !!! The same acts were carried out in the Pacific with the Japanese. Yes, War is Hell but it is not just ONE Sided as the "Good Guys" like to make it appear !!! Way back when, the U.S. Government sent a group of U.S. Special Forces down to Panama to kidnap the Countries President, Noriega, threw him in prison without any charges, just as they have done with the Afghanistans that they have locked up in Cuba. Had any other country did the same thing to U.S. Leaders or troops, there would be hell to pay !! What Parsons does NOT quite understand is that the U.S. Government has a policy of "Do as I say, NOT as I Do !!!" therefore we do not abide by the International Laws because we make our own Laws to suit whatever Actions we wish to take! Sounds totally impossible?? THINK . . . From 9/11 up until the Enron / WorldCom Executives cooking the books and making a fortune ... IRAQ was NOT an Eminent Threat to the U.S. ... As soon as it was mentioned that there were more than a dozen other Corporations that were going to be investigated by the Congress including two "Named Individuals" while they were Heads of Corporations as well, then all of a sudden IRAQ became that Eminent Threat to the U.S. and we had to go to WAR !!! Those two NAMES . . . . . BUSH and CHENEY !!!! Perhaps this is why BUSH is determined to "go it alone if necessary" to Attack Iraq, knowing that all the Investigations and Evidence has long been swept under the Carpet, and He is also determined to keep them there !!!The one Great Fault with the American People is that they believe EVERY single word which comes from the U.S. Government, because as it was stated so truthfully in a movie; . . . "They don't want to hear the TRUTH, because they can't handle the TRUTH !!!" As I stated earlier; Would any American believe that U.S. Troops could possibly kill unarmed POW's even if they openly admitted it ??? Perhaps they have forgotten the photographs of the naked little Vietnamese Girl running down the dirt road away from her village that was being Napalmed by the U.S. Military, or the hundreds of other villages that had suffered the same fate just on the slight possibility that there may be a few Viet Cong there. As I said, they do not want to hear the truth nor face reality, because it may upset their fantasy world and way of life !!! Even after the tragedy of 9/11, it was not long after that the Government was telling them to get back to Business as usual and keep spending those $$$$ !!! Can't have all of those Big Corporations losing money and winding up cutting all our Political Contributions !!! After all, Money is Power and Absolute Power is "Corrupt" or so they say . . . I will leave you on that note. ***************************************** NO VERIFIABLE PROOF; NO U.N. APPROVAL; NO ALLIED SUPPORT; " NO WAR "
